09/01/08 - Win @ Luxemburg, Trouble @ Hill
Marcus experienced the highs and lows of racing this weekend, as he went on to win the feature event on Friday night at Luxemburg.
However, Saturday wouldn't be as kind, as Marcus' car broke in the right front, and he was sent into the frontstretch wall.
Overall, a very nice season for Marcus, 3 feature wins at each track and 16 total top 5 finishes.
08/25/08 - 5th @ Thunderhill
Marcus had another good finish on Saturday, he was bottled up in the middle of the pack for much of the race, but restarts helped him get through the field late.
He ended up finishing in 6th, but a car was DQ'd giving him 5th place.
08/23/08 - 3rd @ The Burg
Marcus had a really good night, challenging for the lead for much of the feature event. He was unable to get under Scott Boulanger, but fought right to the end and picked up a solid 3rd place finish on the night.
08/17/08 - Luxemburg Results
Marcus ran into some early trouble in the feature Friday night, as he went into a spin coming out of turn #3. He would make a trip down pit lane, and rejoin the field at the back. From there, he charged back up to the front, taking home a 5th place finish.
08/10/08 - 141 Results
The IMCA hobby stocks took a trip to the asphalt for the 1st time, and Marcus ran very well. He was right on the bumper of eventual heat winner Dave DeGrave, and was moving toward the front in the feature.
He tried to make the pass on the outside of Luke Lemmens, but a lapped car killed his momentum, allowing Brandon Peterson to get by. Marcus ended the night with a 6th place finish.
08/09/08 - Wed & Fri Results
On Wednesday, Marcus was shuffled back early in the feature, but made a late charge toward the front, and picked up a 5th place finish.
On Friday, his car was shooting sparks out of the front of the car, but he was still able to drive the car into a 4th place finish, with Dave DeGrave beating him by inches at the line.
08/04/08 - Weekend Results
Marcus had a run of bad luck on Friday, as he was hit from behind, dislodging his window net on his car. He would be forced to pit because of it, and went a few laps down before rejoining the competition. He finished in 16th.
On Saturday, he also had some more bad luck, getting tangled up early in the feature, sending him down pit lane again. He was able to charge back through the field and picked up a 6th place finish.
07/27/08 - Marcus Brings Home Another Win!
On Friday, Marcus was able to hold his own in the pack, hovering around the top 5 for the majority of the race. He would end up with a 6th place finish on the night.
On Saturday, he passed Scott Boulanger late in the race, then held off Frank Paul on the final lap by a few inches to pick up his 3rd feature win @ Thunderhill.
Marcus now has 5 feature wins total on the season.
07/13/08 - Weekend Results
Marcus was looking to get a good run on the outside @ Luxemburg, but said there was a lack of grip which costed him to drop out of the top 5.
On Saturday he was unable to fight his way through the pack again, finishing just outside the top 5 @ Thunderhill as well.
07/09/08 - 7th @ Thunderhill
On Saturday Marcus got jumbled up in the middle of the pack and was never able to shake loose. A caution would have helped his cause, but the race went without a single one. He was able to maintain his position and hang onto a 7th place finish.
07/05/08 - Marcus Wins Again!
Thursday night Marcus battled with race leader Chris Christensen, but Tom Brumlic snuck in to take 2nd place way. All 3 drivers would make a great photo finish, with Marcus taking 3rd.
On Friday, Marcus took home the big money. He took the lead on the outside of points leader Dave DeGrave and never looked back. It is Marcus' 4th feature win on the season, with 3 coming in the last 2 weeks.

06/30/08 - 2 Feature Wins!
On Friday night @ Luxemburg, Marcus took the lead early, and held off Chad Kaminski and Dave DeGrave to take his 1st feature win at the track. The car above is FOR SALE!
On Saturday @ Thunderhill, Marcus made a 3-wide pass around Dave DeGrave and Jeff Lautenbach, then had to hold off pressure on a late race restart to take his 2nd feature win @ The Hill. He now has 3 feature wins on the season.

06/16/08 - 2nd @ Thunderhill
Marcus took the lead after a spin by leader Jeff Lautenbach, but it would be short-lived. Dave DeGrave came charging on the outside of Marcus, taking the lead for good.
Marcus would hold off Frank Paul and Jarred VanLaanen and avoided lapped traffic to hold onto 2nd.
06/02/08 - Rough Weekend
Marcus had a good run going Friday night, until an accident in front of him caused him to hit the brakes too hard, and ended his night.
On Saturday, he made his way up to 3rd and then the engine let loose ending his night there as well.
05/26/08 - Weekend Results
Marcus was charging through the field @ Luxemburg until he was called as part of an incident with Chris Christensen. He had to restart from the back, and made his way back up to an 8th place finish.
At Thunderhill, he was drilled in the driver side in the heat race, and the car wasn't quite right for the feature. Marcus still managed a 7th place finish in the feature.
05/18/08 - Great Weekend for Marcus
Marcus had a very strong weekend of racing, finishing 3rd on Friday night @ Luxemburg, and taking home his 1st feature win of the season @ Thunderhill.
This is his 2nd feature win in the car, he won the 2007 Fall Classic last season @ Thunderhill.
05/11/08 - Thunderhill Opening Night
A combination of a rough track and nowhere to go summed up Marcus' night on Saturday at Thunderhill. He really couldn't get the car going, and the rough patch in turn #2 didn't help matters. Marcus finished in 7th place on the night.
05/10/08 - Another Solid Finish @ Luxemburg
Marcus stumbled out of the gates in Friday's hobby stock feature, but a caution midway through the race definitely helped the cause. At the time Marcus was running around 7th, and by the end he got past Tom Brumlic and Jason LaViolette to get a 3rd place finish.
04/19/08 - Top 5 on Opening Night @ The Burg
See Marcus' Thoughts on Opening Night
Marcus looked strong in his 2nd appearance in the old Keith Kickbusch machine. The heat race was not very smooth, making contact with other cars on a couple of occasions, but when the feature started, he made a charge toward the front.
Marcus took to the high line from the middle of the race to the end, and got around Jarred VanLaanen & Tom Brumlic at the end to finish in 4th place.
03/07/08 - Marcus's New Scheme
Marcus's car has been taken by Woody and is being finished up right now. Here's a sneak preview picture of the 2008 car. The web site now reflects the new look of the car.
