Early on Moede would take the lead away from Aarron Zellner, but not for long as Tyler Wilson would motor by Moede on the high line, but soon laps cars came into play and Wilson seemed to only be able to drive high as Marcus was able to pilot his car low and take back the lead, it came down too the wire as wilson would try nudging Moede out of the way out of turn 4 on the final lap, but able to save it Moede would take the checkers.
Marcus ended up 2nd in points at Luxemburg finishing behind Chad Kaminski. A career best for Marcus.
Marcus had anothor solid 3rd place finish at luxemburg friday, saturday wasnt so good as he had heavy front end damage and would have to go down pit lane, finished but near the tail of the pack.
Marcus Went back to give the asphalt another try on Saturday and would go on to win his first heat win on the pavement and then 2nd place in the Feature.
Wedsday nite at 141 speedway in francise creek Marcus finished 2nd in the heat and got in a tangle the feature to finish 9th.
On day one of the Badger State showdown, Marcus finished third in the feature. Friday, day 2 Marcus won the heat and finished 3rd the the Feature. On saturday at thunderhill Marcus was running third until involve in a inncident and was sent too the back and finished 9th.
Marcus started 14th, charged through the pack and passed Green Bay’s Mike Mueller for the lead on lap 14 and went on to win the 18 lap IMCA hobby stock feature, his second of the season. Marcus finished 7th on Saturday.
Marcus had some problems in the heat on friday, but rebounded with a strong 3rd place finish in the feature. On saturday things looked to be going good, running 2nd place and during a caution the car started smoking, a trannsmisson line blew which ended the nite. Congrats to Luke Lemmens on his first feature win at St. Bay.
Marcus took 3rd third in the heat and 8th in the feature on Friday. Saturday was rained out
Marcus started mid pack and worked his way to second by the half way point in the race and passed Brumlic and would hold off heavy pressure for the win. Saturday wasnt so good as Marcus went up in smoke and did not finish the race at sturgeon bay.
